SHORT ANSWER

What is Try Shoot and how does it pay clippers?

Shoot, also called Try Shoot after its domain tryshoot.com, is a clipping campaign marketplace launched in 2026. You post clips for funded brand campaigns on TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, X or Facebook, submit the link, and earn per 1,000 views or through milestone bonuses once the brand approves the clip. Shoot moves earnings to your wallet every 72 hours, holds each payout for 72 more hours, and lets you withdraw from $10 by Wise bank transfer or USDT. It charges a 7% platform fee plus the provider's fee at withdrawal.

How Shoot (Try Shoot) works

  1. Create a free account. Shoot says there is no application and no follower minimum.
  2. Verify each social account, usually by placing a code in your bio that Shoot reads back, or by connecting the account.
  3. Browse funded campaigns and check the CPM or milestone bonuses, allowed platforms, per-video cap and minimum views.
  4. Post your clip on an allowed platform with your verified account, then paste the post link inside the campaign's submission window.
  5. The brand approves or rejects the clip. Approved clips start earning against the campaign budget.
  6. Every 72 hours Shoot counts your latest views and moves earnings to your wallet. Each payout clears after a 72-hour hold.
  7. Withdraw any amount from $10, or turn on auto-withdraw.

What Shoot is

Shoot's terms of service describe it as "a clipping campaign marketplace that connects brands and businesses with creators". Brands fund a campaign budget in advance, publish a brief and guidelines, and set how clips are paid. Creators post on their own accounts and submit the link.

Shoot is new. Its iOS app, published by Edward Forrester Limited, was released on July 20, 2026, and had no public ratings on September 28, 2026 (Apple App Store). The terms say governing law is England and Wales and add that "the operating entity and exact governing law will be confirmed by counsel before a full paid public launch." In plain words, the legal entity behind the service is not yet fixed in the terms.

Payout timing and fees

Shoot's help center explains the money flow in detail. Money moves through three states on each clip: Counting, Clearing and Ready.

The 7% fee comes out of your earnings, not the brand's budget. On a $200 withdrawal you pay $14 to Shoot plus the Wise or gas fee. A crypto payout sent to a wrong address or network is lost for good, and the terms say Shoot is not liable for it.

Eligibility and verification rules

  • You must be at least 13 to use Shoot, but only people aged 18 or over can receive payouts. Shoot checks the date of birth on your government ID. A parent or guardian can receive payouts for a minor.
  • You need a country on file and a verified identity before your first withdrawal.
  • Payouts are blocked in countries on Shoot's restricted and sanctioned list.
  • Shoot gives each post a bot-risk score from 0 to 100. A high score can hold, reduce or cancel a payout. The terms call it "an automated signal, not a finding of fraud", and you can dispute it through support.
  • Shoot can ask for audience proof, such as a screen recording of your post analytics, at any stage, including after payout. The response window is at least 72 hours unless a payout is about to be released.
  • Buying views, using bots or engagement pods, or submitting a post that is not yours can lead to reversed earnings and a ban.

All of these rules come from Shoot's terms of service, last updated September 15, 2026.

How to read Shoot's earnings claims

Shoot's help center says beginners typically make $500 to $1,000 a month, average clippers $2,000 to $3,000, and experienced full-time clippers $10,000 to $25,000 (How much can you earn on Shoot?). Shoot publishes no data behind these ranges, no total paid out and no count of paid clippers. Treat them as marketing, not as a forecast.

The same article gives a useful rule: campaigns can set a maximum per video and a minimum number of views. Below the minimum a clip earns nothing. Once it crosses the minimum, it earns on its full view count, not only the views above the line.

Worked example (assumptions labeled)

Assume a campaign pays $1 per 1,000 views, with a 10,000-view minimum and a $250 cap per video. You post five approved clips. Two reach 6,000 views and earn $0. Two reach 40,000 views and earn $40 each. One reaches 400,000 views, which would be $400, but the cap limits it to $250. Gross earnings: $330.

At withdrawal, Shoot's 7% fee is $23.10, leaving $306.90 before the Wise or gas fee. Because of the 72-hour cycle plus the 72-hour hold, the first money from an approved clip becomes withdrawable about 6 days after approval: 72 hours to the first payout, then 72 hours of hold.
