It does not publish its rates; each campaign's rate is shown in the app and can change with 30 days' notice. How Post Clips works

Download the iPhone app, accept the Independent Contractor Agreement during onboarding, and submit US government ID and a W-9.
Create one fresh account on each social platform, as the App Store listing instructs. These pages must be labeled "Unofficial Fan Page".
Pick a campaign and watch the licensed show or movie inside the app.
Tap "Create a Clip", trim the moment and apply a template or custom edit. You cannot download the footage.
Wait for approval; the listing says to allow about 5 minutes.
Post the approved clip to all your platforms from the app, submit the analytics the app asks for, and get paid on the 1st and 15th once you pass the minimum.

What Post Clips is

Post Clips has two sides. For content owners, which its contract calls "Networks", it sells distribution: the homepage offers to design fan pages, customize every clip and "push content across thousands of fan pages". It claims 2,150,209,000 campaign views and 26,450 clips posted. For clippers, the clipper page and the iPhone app offer pay per 1,000 views for clipping TV shows and movies inside the app.

Because the footage comes from Networks under contract, you are not clipping unlicensed material. The trade-off is control: Post Clips and the Network own the clips, and the contract places tight limits on the accounts you post from.

The contract: terms to read before you accept

You accept the Independent Contractor Agreement by tapping "Accept & Continue" in the app. These are its most important terms, quoted or summarized from the published text:

Earnings can expire. If you post no accepted clip for 90 consecutive days, or the agreement ends before you reach the minimum threshold, "all Virtual Earnings shall immediately expire and be permanently forfeited to the Company."
Pages are exclusive. Any page that carries Post Clips content must carry only Post Clips content during the term. If you convert a personal page, you must archive or hide its existing posts first.
No monetization. Pages with Post Clips content may not be monetized "by brand deals, platform monetization, account sales or other money-or-gift-earning activities." That rules out TikTok or YouTube creator payouts on those pages.
No competitor work. During the term and for six months after, you may not work for competitors, which the contract names as "Clipping, Whop, Playbite Inc, Payper" and any similar business.
Locked term. If a page's followers grow by 25% or more, the agreement becomes a one-year "Locked Term" that only the company can end without cause.
You keep the accounts, with conditions. Section 5.8 says you retain ownership of your pages. On termination you must delete or hide the Post Clips videos, depending on the Network's request.
24-hour obligations. You must delete posts within 24 hours of a request, and grant an audit of your pages' direct messages and monetization status within 24 hours.
Insurance. Section 11 requires the contractor to maintain workers' compensation, general liability and errors-and-omissions insurance. The agreement does not say how this applies to individual clippers.
Disputes. California law governs. The company may seek injunctions; your "sole remedy" is a court action for money damages.

Check whether this fits how you work. If you plan to earn creator-fund money or run other campaigns from the same page, this contract does not allow it. If these terms matter to you, read the full agreement or ask a lawyer before you accept.

Who can join

The contract requires "a legal resident of the United States" with a clear photo of the front and back of a US government ID and a completed W-9 before any payment. The App Store rates the app 17+. Clippers outside the US cannot be paid, so they should look at open marketplaces such as Whop Content Rewards or Clipping.net instead.

What clippers report

On September 28, 2026 the iPhone app had 4.4 stars from 44 ratings. The clipper page shows testimonials such as "For anyone wondering, yes it is legit" from first-name-only reviewers; we could not verify them. We found no Trustpilot page, no press coverage and no public pattern of payment complaints.
