Cut.Pro championships: how they work, what they pay, and who they suit
Facts checked September 28, 2026 · Independent guide, not affiliated with Cut.Pro Championships
SHORT ANSWER
What are Cut.Pro championships and how much do they pay clippers?
Cut.Pro is a Brazilian AI clipping tool with a "championships" feature: creators fund a prize pool, and clippers post clips of their content to win cash or Cut.Pro credits. Each championship pays by podium position, by recurring leader prizes, or at a fixed rate per 1,000 views; open per-view championships on 28 September 2026 paid R$0.50 to R$3.00 per 1,000 views. Cash goes out only by PIX to a key in your own name, joining is free, and you must be 18 or older.

How Cut.Pro Championships works
- Create a free Cut.Pro account on the web or in the iOS or Android app.
- Open a championship, set your username, and accept the rules and policies. For cash prizes, register a PIX key in your own name at sign-up.
- Connect your TikTok, Instagram, Facebook or Pinterest account (read-only access). For YouTube and Kwai, you paste each video link instead.
- Clip the organizer's released content. Editing in Cut.Pro is optional, and clipping the released material in Cut.Pro is free during the championship.
- Post the clip publicly with every required hashtag and @mention.
- The organizer approves or rejects each video. Only approved videos score.
- Cash lands in your Cut.Pro wallet. Request a PIX withdrawal once a week; credits land in your balance automatically.
Cut.Pro is a tool first, with a paid contest layer
Cut.Pro's main product is an AI editor that finds moments in long videos, reframes them to 9:16 and schedules posts. Plans run from a free tier with 15 credits a month to a $29.90 Pro plan. The championships are a separate feature. Any user can open one, fund the prize in advance, and let other people clip the content. Cut.Pro holds the money, verifies views through each network's API, and pays the winners.
For a clipper, that makes Cut.Pro a contest marketplace, not a standing campaign board. Every championship is a fixed pool with an end date, and its rulebook is generated from the organizer's settings and locked at creation. Its policy says Cut.Pro does not organize the contests (except official "Campeonato Oficial CutPro" events); the organizer does, under Brazilian law.
| Prize format | How it pays |
|---|---|
| Podium | Fixed amounts for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and more, paid at the end. Ranking by views or by a weighted score of views, likes, comments, shares and saves. |
| Recurring | A fixed prize for the leader each day, week or month. |
| Per 1,000 views | Each approved video earns a set amount per 1,000 views, often with a cap per video. Paid during the championship. |
| Per approved video | A fixed amount once per approved video, regardless of views. |
| Combined | Recurring or per-view payouts during the championship plus a final podium. |
What championships pay
Cut.Pro lists every open and closed championship publicly, with the prize paid so far. On 28 September 2026 it showed R$185,000 in prizes across open championships and 1,676 clippers competing. Its championships page says closed championships have paid R$86,000 in cash and 360,000 credits to date, with 2,637 clippers having competed.
| Championship (28 Sep 2026) | Format | Pool | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| DEBATE FLOW | R$3.00 per 1,000 views | R$30,000 | Open; R$15,000 paid (50%), 12M views |
| Piva Educacional | R$2.00 per 1,000 views | R$2,000 | Open; R$232 paid (12%) |
| Flávio Passos | R$1.00 per 1,000 views plus podium | R$15,000 | Open; R$65 paid |
| Jacob Petry | R$0.50 per 1,000 views | R$15,000 | Scheduled |
| Mariana Rios | Podium, R$5,000 for 1st | R$16,000 | Open; 152 participants |
| Angela Sirino (YouTube) | R$1.00 per 1,000 views | R$5,000 | Closed; 100% paid, 9.7M views |
The pool caps what you can earn. The help center says a per-view championship ends when its pool runs out. At R$1.00 per 1,000 views, a R$5,000 pool pays for 5 million views. The closed Angela Sirino YouTube championship recorded 9.7 million views and paid its full R$5,000, so millions of its views were never paid. Join per-view championships early, and check the "% of the prize" figure before you start.
Worked example (assumptions labeled). The Flávio Passos championship pays R$1.00 per 1,000 views, only after a clip reaches 1,000 views, up to R$200 per video, from a R$5,000 per-view reserve. It also pays a R$10,000 podium (R$5,000, R$3,000 and R$2,000) on total views. Assume you get three clips approved with 250,000, 80,000 and 900 views, and the reserve lasts. The first clip earns R$200 (capped, not R$250). The second earns R$80. The third is under 1,000 views and earns nothing. You receive R$280 through the championship, plus any podium prize.
Compare per-view pay across platforms with the clipping calculator.
Getting paid: PIX only for cash
- Wallet and withdrawals. Cash prizes go to your Cut.Pro wallet. You request a PIX withdrawal yourself, once a week; the week turns on Sunday, Brasília time. There is no minimum, and the balance does not expire when the championship closes.
- PIX in your own name. The PIX key (CPF, email, phone or random key) must belong to an account in your name. Cut.Pro validates it at sign-up, and changing it later needs support review. A transfer to a wrong key is your loss.
- Not instant. Each withdrawal goes through team review before the transfer is created. Cash prizes from podium championships are paid after validation, usually within 2 business days of closing.
- Credits are not cash. Credit prizes land in your balance automatically, but the policy says credits have no monetary value and cannot be converted to cash.
- Payment partner. PIX payouts are processed by Asaas Pagamentos S.A.
- Taxes. A cash prize is income. The policy tells winners to declare it on their Brazilian annual income tax return (IRPF). High-value prizes may require extra identity verification.
In practice, this means cash prizes suit clippers with a Brazilian bank account and PIX key. Cut.Pro publishes no other cash payout method.
Rules that can cost you a prize
- Age. The Championships Policy (updated 13 September 2026) bars anyone under 18, even with a guardian's permission. An older help article still says minors may join with a guardian's authorization; the policy is the binding document.
- Required tags. A video without every required hashtag and @mention is disqualified automatically. A profile name typed without the @ does not count.
- Timing and status. Videos published before the start do not count. Videos must stay public until results are settled, and a deleted video stops earning.
- Paid-ad labeling. The policy treats championship videos as paid advertising. You must label them clearly (for example "#publi" or "parceria paga com [marca]") at the start of the caption, following the CONAR influencer advertising guide.
- Engagement checks. The Flávio Passos rules say likes under 0.8% of views, or comments under 0.01% of likes, send a clip to review as possible artificial engagement.
- One entry per person. Borrowed, bought or rented accounts are banned, and each person competes with one entry per championship.
- Fraud clawback. If a prize is won by fraud, you must return it with interest and a penalty, and an unpaid debt can be reported to Brazilian credit bureaus (SPC, Serasa).
- Appeals. A rejection must cite a published rule. You can appeal once while the championship is active, and escalate to Cut.Pro if the organizer does not answer in time.
Is Cut.Pro legit? The evidence
CutPro Tecnologia Ltda is an active Brazilian company, registered in São Paulo on 11 February 2026. Its Championships Policy is long, specific and grounded in Brazilian law, and every closed championship stays public with the amount it paid. Several closed championships show 100% of the prize paid.
Independent evidence is thin. Cut.Pro's Trustpilot page has no reviews as of 28 September 2026, its iOS app had 3 ratings, and we found no major press coverage. Start with a per-view championship where the paid percentage is low, so the pool still has money, and withdraw your first PIX before you invest many hours.
Pros and cons
Strengths
- Free to join, no follower minimum, and no paid plan needed to compete.
- Public listings show each prize pool and, for per-view and closed championships, how much has been paid.
- No minimum withdrawal; balances do not expire.
- Clipping the released material inside Cut.Pro is free during the championship.
- A detailed, published appeal process for rejected videos.
Drawbacks
- Cash prizes are paid only by PIX, so they suit clippers in Brazil.
- Most championships pay podium prizes, so only top performers earn.
- Per-view pools are fixed and can run out before your views are paid.
- Credit prizes cannot be converted to cash.
- Strict rules on tags, ad labeling and engagement ratios, with clawback of fraud-won prizes.
- Short track record; the company was registered in February 2026.
- Best for
- Clippers in Brazil with a PIX key who want to clip Portuguese-language creators for cash prizes or per-view pay.
- Not ideal for
- Clippers outside Brazil, or anyone who needs steady per-view income from standing brand campaigns.
Cut.Pro Championships questions
Is Cut.Pro legit?
CutPro Tecnologia Ltda is an active Brazilian company registered in São Paulo in February 2026. Independent reviews are scarce: its Trustpilot page has no reviews and its iOS app had 3 ratings as of September 2026.
How much do Cut.Pro championships pay?
It depends on the championship. On 28 September 2026, open per-view championships paid R$0.50 to R$3.00 per 1,000 views, often capped per video, and podium championships offered first prizes of R$2,000 to R$5,000. Cut.Pro does not publish rates in US dollars.
How do I get paid by Cut.Pro?
Cash prizes go to your Cut.Pro wallet, and you request a PIX withdrawal once a week to a key in your own name. There is no minimum. Credit prizes go to your balance and cannot be turned into cash.

You can create an account, but cash prizes are paid only by PIX to an account in your name, and Cut.Pro publishes no other cash method. Without a Brazilian PIX key, you can in practice win only credit prizes.

No. The championship rules say editing in Cut.Pro is optional. You must still register each clip on Cut.Pro, by connecting your TikTok, Instagram, Facebook or Pinterest account or by pasting YouTube and Kwai links.
Does Cut.Pro charge clippers a fee?
No. Joining is free and needs no paid plan. The 20% service fee applies to organizers who fund cash prizes.
