SHORT ANSWER

What is CLIPZ.GLOBAL and how does it pay clippers?

CLIPZ.GLOBAL is a clipping marketplace run by CLIPZ GLOBAL LTD, a company incorporated in Cyprus, that connects clippers with music labels and brands. You post a campaign's clip on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or X, submit the link and a screenshot of your views, and the team reviews it, usually within 24 to 48 hours. Campaigns pay either a fixed amount per view tier or a CPM rate, and CLIPZ pays only on unique views, not the public play count. You withdraw by PayPal, bank transfer, Wise or crypto.

CLIPZ does not publish a USD rate range. A CLIPZ blog post aimed at brands gives example CPM rates of EUR 1.50 to EUR 4 per 1,000 verified views and example tiers such as EUR 2 at 1,000 views and EUR 60 at 50,000+ views. CLIPZ pays in USD and counts only unique views, so your effective rate against the public view count will be lower than the campaign rate.

What CLIPZ.GLOBAL is

CLIPZ.GLOBAL started as a music promotion network. Its homepage says the team began as "music lovers and marketers" and now runs campaigns for major labels, independent artists and brands (clipz.global). Campaign clips are often 7 to 30 second song promotions, according to a CLIPZ guide.

The terms and conditions, last updated June 25, 2026, name the operator as CLIPZ GLOBAL LTD, incorporated in Cyprus. The iOS app is published under a different name, UNIQUE MEDIA GROUP LLC, and was released on April 16, 2026 (Apple App Store). CLIPZ says it has 5,000+ active clippers in 50+ countries. It does not publish total payouts.

The unique-views rule

This is the most important rule on CLIPZ, and it is easy to miss. The terms say CLIPZ pays "exclusively on the basis of UNIQUE VIEWS, not the total play count or impression count that social platforms display publicly." A unique view means a distinct human viewer with meaningful watch time, as CLIPZ determines it. The terms say this determination is final.

The terms also say your payout "will normally be a fraction of the public number on the post." TikTok and Reels play counts include loops and replays by the same person, so the gap can be large. Most competitors pay on the platform's reported view count. When you compare a CLIPZ rate with another platform's rate, discount the CLIPZ rate.

Tier campaigns and CPM campaigns

Each campaign uses one of two payout models, according to the terms:

ModelHow it paysExample from CLIPZ's brand blog
TierA fixed amount for the highest view threshold you reach (floor logic)EUR 2 at 1,000 views, EUR 8 at 5,000, EUR 25 at 20,000, EUR 60 at 50,000+
CPMA flat rate per 1,000 unique viewsEUR 1.50 to EUR 4 per 1,000 verified views

The examples come from CLIPZ's post Global vs Local Clipping on CLIPZ, which is written for brands. Real campaigns can differ. Amounts are paid in USD, and local-currency figures in the app are estimates.

Every campaign has a fixed budget. When the budget is spent, payments stop, even if your clip keeps getting views. CLIPZ may also apply per-clip caps or split the budget pro rata between creators. Some "Local" campaigns are open only to creators whose GPS location, verified in the mobile app, matches the target area. The verification lasts 90 days.

Rules that get clips rejected or accounts banned

  • Your profile must be public, and views, likes and comments must be visible.
  • Each video URL can be submitted once across the whole platform. Re-uploads of another creator's clip are rejected as duplicates.
  • Submissions can be rejected for brand-safety concerns, off-brief content, missing ad disclosure, low quality, late submission or an exhausted budget.
  • You must add #ad or #sponsored disclosure where the law requires it (the terms name the FTC, ASA and EU DSA).
  • Bots, view farms, fake screenshots or multiple accounts lead to a permanent ban and loss of all pending payouts.

The FTC says disclosures must sit in the post itself and use clear words such as "ad" or "sponsored" (FTC Disclosures 101).

CLIPZ also runs a crypto token, $CLIPZ, as a reward, and "shill campaigns" that pay for posts that mention a brand's keywords. The terms warn that you are responsible for checking whether participation is lawful where you live.

Worked example (assumptions labeled)

Assume a CPM campaign pays $2 per 1,000 unique views. Your TikTok shows 100,000 plays. Assume CLIPZ counts 55% of those plays as unique views, or 55,000. You earn $110, not $200. The 55% figure is an assumption for illustration; CLIPZ does not publish its ratio.

On a tier campaign that pays $25 at 20,000 views and $60 at 50,000 views, the same clip earns $60 if 55,000 unique views are counted, but only $25 if 45,000 are counted. Near a tier boundary, the unique-view count decides the payout.

Pros and cons

Strengths

  • Music-label and brand campaigns with supplied clips, so editing effort can be low
  • Many payout methods, including PayPal, SEPA, Wise and several cryptocurrencies
  • Web, iOS and Android apps in 14 languages
  • Detailed written terms that state the payout basis openly

Drawbacks

  • Pays only on unique views, so payouts are a fraction of public play counts
  • No published minimum withdrawal or USD rate range
  • Small public footprint: 1 App Store rating and 2 Trustpilot reviews as of September 2026
  • Operator name differs between the terms (Cyprus company) and the App Store (US LLC)
  • Crypto token and shill campaigns add legal and disclosure risk
Best for
Clippers who want music and brand campaigns with ready-made clips and flexible payout methods, including crypto.
Not ideal for
Clippers who want to be paid on the public view count or who want a platform with a long public track record.
