SHORT ANSWER
What is Clipping.net and how much does it pay clippers?
Clipping.net, branded CLIPPING, is a clipping marketplace where you join brand and creator campaigns, post clips from verified TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or X accounts, and earn per view. Its public campaign pages show rates of $30 to $300 per 100,000 views ($0.30 to $3.00 per 1,000) as of September 2026, and most require 100,000 total views on the campaign before you earn. Payouts go by PayPal, USDC or USDT only when the sponsor closes a payout cycle; there is no withdraw button.
Clipping.net (CLIPPING) at a glance
- Posted rates
- $0.30–$3.00 per 1,000 views

The campaign pages listed in its sitemap on 28 September 2026 showed "earn up to" rates from $30 (Family Friendly) to $300 (Kick Clipping, Stake Bounties) per 100,000 views. We divided by 100. "Up to" rates include bounties, and many campaigns pay less for regular clips. TheWrap, citing Bloomberg, reports $300 to $1,500 per 1 million views ($0.30 to $1.50 per 1,000).

How Clipping.net (CLIPPING) works
- Sign in at clipping.net with your Discord account. You may hold one clipper account per Discord user.
- Add each social account you post from. Put the 5-digit code in your bio (or YouTube channel description) until the account shows Verified.
- Add a payout method: PayPal, USDC or USDT on Ethereum.
- Open a campaign and read its rules: required creator, sound or brand mention, audience rules, minimum views and payout method.
- Post the clip publicly on a verified account, then paste the post URL with Upload clip. Tracking starts at once.
- Views are read about every 12 hours until the campaign ends.
- When the sponsor closes the payout cycle, staff review the posts, the sponsor approves the numbers, and CLIPPING sends the payout.
What Clipping.net pays
Campaigns pay in one of three ways. A payrate campaign pays a fixed amount per 100,000 views; the clipper terms give the formula (Views × Rate) ÷ 100,000 per platform, summed. A pot campaign splits a fixed budget by your share of total campaign views. A bounty pays a separate rate for a specific task, such as using a trending sound. Each clip is either a regular submission or a bounty submission, not both.
This sample comes from public campaign pages on 28 September 2026. Rates are the "earn up to" figures, which include bounties.
| Campaign | Up to, per 100K views | Per 1,000 views | Campaign minimum | Pays by |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Family Friendly | $30 | $0.30 | 100,000 views | PayPal |
| Drake | $40 | $0.40 | 100,000 views | PayPal |
| Atlantic Music | $50 | $0.50 | 100,000 views | PayPal |
| Netflix Comedy | $100 | $1.00 | 50,000 views | PayPal |
| CSGORoll | $150 | $1.50 | 100,000 views | PayPal |
| Lionsgate | $200 | $2.00 | 100,000 views | PayPal |
| Kick Clipping | $300 | $3.00 | 100,000 views | USDT |
| Stake Bounties | $300 | $3.00 | 10,000 views | USDT |
Worked example (assumptions labeled). Assume a payrate campaign at $100 per 100,000 views with a 100,000-view campaign minimum. You post six clips that reach 60,000, 45,000, 30,000, 25,000, 12,000 and 800 views. The 800-view post is below the 1,000-view floor, so it does not count. Your counted total is 172,000 views, which passes the minimum. You earn 172,000 × $100 ÷ 100,000 = $172. If you are in a team whose captain takes 10%, you net $154.80. If the same campaign had a 200,000-view minimum, you would earn nothing until you passed it.
Pot example (assumptions labeled). In a $4,000 pot campaign, if your clips produce 5% of all campaign views, you receive 5% of the pot: $200.

How and when you get paid
Clipping.net pays in cycles, and this is the rule new clippers most often misread. The clipper terms state: "There is no withdraw button, no on-demand cashout, and no fixed date when a cycle ends." The sponsor decides when a cycle closes. Some cycles run for weeks, some for months, and some until the budget runs out. Your dashboard balance is an estimate, not a wallet.
- Review before payment. After a cycle closes, staff check each post for quality, rule compliance and whether it is still live and public. The sponsor then approves the payout sheet. All qualifying clippers on the campaign are paid in the same batch.
- Estimates can go down. Clips can be removed for botting, capped by a view ceiling, or adjusted by the sponsor.
- Keep posts public until paid. A post that goes private, is deleted or is hidden before payout can be disqualified, even after the campaign ended.
- One method per campaign. A PayPal campaign pays only by PayPal. Save more than one method to stay eligible for more campaigns.
- Crypto is Ethereum-only. USDC and USDT go out on Ethereum mainnet only, not Tron, BSC, Solana or Polygon. Payouts to an address you cannot access are not reissued.
- Fees. No clipper fee is published. The homepage labels PayPal "Fast, no fees", but the terms say payment processor fees may apply. You are responsible for your own taxes.
Older saved methods (Cash App, Zelle and other chains) may still appear in long-standing accounts, but the payments docs say only PayPal, USDC and USDT can be added now.
Verification and rules
- Eligibility: 18 or older, of legal age in your jurisdiction, and resident in a territory where CLIPPING operates.
- Account verification: a 5-digit code in your bio proves you own each social account. You can connect several accounts per platform, but a campaign can cap it (for example, 2 per platform).
- View tracking: tracking starts on submission and reads views about every 12 hours. For YouTube, CLIPPING tracks "engaged views" rather than raw views.
- Audience match: do not join campaigns whose audience rule you do not meet. The example in the rules: an English-audience campaign requires 50% or more of your audience in English-speaking countries.
- Visible engagement: hiding likes or other tracked metrics is not allowed.
- Quality and duplicates: low-effort or automated posts are removed. One clip per post, and no reposting the same content on the same account.
- Fraud: buying views or followers, view bots and multiple clipper accounts lead to termination, forfeiture of pending and earned payouts, and clawback of past payouts.
- FTC compliance: the clipper terms list compliance with FTC guidelines as a payout requirement, and violating FTC disclosure guidelines as a reason for termination.
Forbes reported in April 2026 that enforcement is strict: "two rule violations and you're permanently removed," and human auditors review every post. Staff decisions are final under the platform rules.
Who runs Clipping.net
The site does not name its legal entity. Its X, Instagram and LinkedIn handles are @clippingexe. Forbes (April 2026) profiles Anthony Fujiwara, 23, as co-founder of "Clipping Exe" and says the company operates through a central Discord with about 60,000 members. TheWrap (March 2026) calls Clipping a Los Angeles startup founded by Fujiwara, with over 23,300 editors on its roster in late 2025, and cites Bloomberg for about $7.7 million in 2025 sales. TheWrap also reports brand subscriptions of $2,500 to $10,000 a month.
Forbes headlines Fujiwara as the "creator of clipping" behind crypto gambling's viral machine and links clipping to the visibility of the crypto casino Stake. Forbes also reports that clients include Netflix, Amazon Prime and Capitol Music Group. The public campaign list includes Stake, Kick, Drake, Lionsgate and Netflix Comedy.
The site itself claims "$60M+ paid to clippers", 77,000+ clippers and 395B+ views tracked. We could not verify these figures. The payout total is a different measure from Bloomberg's reported revenue, so the two numbers cannot be compared directly.
Is Clipping.net legit? The evidence
Independent press (Forbes, TheWrap, citing Bloomberg) names the founder, describes the business and reports real brand clients. The clipper terms, payment rules and verification steps are public and detailed.
Clipping.net has no Trustpilot reviews as of 28 September 2026, so there is little public payout feedback to check. The main risk is structural, not a sign of fraud: you cannot withdraw on demand, and a sponsor can keep a cycle open for months. Budget your time on the assumption that money arrives only after a cycle closes.

Each post needs at least 1,000 views to count, and your combined views on a campaign must pass that campaign's minimum. The docs say the minimum is usually 25,000 views; the public campaign pages we checked showed 10,000 to 1,000,000, most often 100,000.
