SHORT ANSWER
What is Earn with Picsart and how does it pay clippers?
Earn with Picsart is a creator payment program run by PicsArt, Inc. that launched in April 2026. You join a campaign, make content with Picsart tools, post it on your own Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or X account, and submit the link. Picsart pays a base payment when it approves the post, adds bonuses for views and engagement over 7 days, and lets you withdraw through Stripe after a 30-day hold. Picsart does not publish a fixed rate per 1,000 views; each campaign shows its own reward rules.

- Picsart does not publish a rate per 1,000 views for its own campaigns. Its blog describes the wider clipping market as paying up to $5 per 1,000 verified views, with budget briefs near $0.20, but that is a market description, not a Picsart rate card. How Earn with Picsart (Picsart Clipping) works
- Apply to Earn with Picsart. Picsart says approval depends on your application, not your follower count.
- Connect each social account in My Accounts. Picsart verifies ownership with a temporary code that you add to your bio or description.
- Browse the campaign list and read the brief: source pack, platform rules, required tags, content boundaries and reward logic.
- Make the clip with Picsart tools, then post it on your own Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or X account with the campaign tags.
- Submit the post URL. Picsart reviews it and, if it approves the post, pays a base payment.
- Picsart tracks views and engagement for 7 days and adds bonuses automatically.
- After a 30-day verification hold, withdraw through Stripe once you pass the minimum withdrawal amount.
What Earn with Picsart is
Earn with Picsart is a monetization program inside Picsart, the AI photo and video editor. TechCrunch reported the launch on April 6, 2026. The program pays creators for content they make with Picsart tools and post on their own social accounts.
The program has two kinds of work. General creator campaigns ask for edits, tutorials, AI images and short videos made with Picsart tools. Picsart Clipping campaigns give you an approved source pack (a song, podcast, product video or creator upload) and ask you to cut short-form clips from it.
On July 9, 2026, Picsart said that more than 80,000 creators had joined, that creators had earned more than $1M, and that program content had passed 5 billion views, according to its press release. These are company figures. No independent audit is published.
How Picsart pays, step by step
The payment rules come from Picsart's help center article What is Earn with Picsart?, updated April 17, 2026. They differ from most clipping marketplaces in two ways: a base payment on approval, and a long hold before withdrawal.
| Stage | What happens | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Approval | Picsart approves the post and pays a base payment immediately | Help center |
| Bonus window | Views and engagement are tracked for 7 days; bonuses are added automatically | Help center |
| Hold | Earnings stay on hold for 30 days for verification | Help center |
| Withdrawal | Withdraw through Stripe once you reach the minimum withdrawal amount (amount not published) | Help center |
| Cooldown | 24 hours between withdrawals | Help center |
| Post lifetime | Keep the post live for at least 30 days, or you may lose its earnings | Help center |
Picsart says there is no set maximum on what you can earn. Individual campaigns can still set caps. The clipping page lists caps, payout timing and the performance window as parts of every campaign's reward logic.
What Picsart counts as performance
Most clipping platforms pay only on verified views. Picsart says its payouts are based on views, comments, shares and reach, according to the Earn with Picsart page. A clip with strong comments and shares can therefore earn differently from a clip with the same views and no interaction.
Picsart also warns that posting AI images without creative effort will not drive meaningful earnings. The program pays for content made with its tools, so it works best if you already edit in Picsart or are willing to switch.
Why posts get rejected
Picsart's help center lists the common rejection reasons. Each one is a check you can do before you submit:
- Invalid post URL. Paste the direct link to the post, not your profile.
- Missing campaign tags. Picsart says correct tags are essential for approval.
- Wrong content type. A photo edit does not qualify for a video brief.
- Content not recent enough. Post after you join the campaign.
- Deleted post. Removing the post within 30 days can forfeit its earnings.
You can see the rejection reason in the Posts tab, fix the problem and resubmit. Paid clips are advertising under US law. The FTC says you must disclose a financial relationship with a brand in the post itself, with clear words such as "ad" or "sponsored" (FTC Disclosures 101). Picsart's own blog says paid clips need a disclosure tag.
Worked example (assumptions labeled)
Picsart does not publish rates, so this example uses assumed numbers to show the timing, not the amount. Assume a campaign pays a $2 base payment on approval and a bonus of $1 per 1,000 views in the 7-day window. You post on September 1 and the clip reaches 40,000 views by September 8.
Under those assumptions you earn $2 on approval and $40 in bonuses, $42 in total. The 30-day hold means you can withdraw it in early October, not the same week. If you delete the post before October 1, you can lose the $42. Plan your cash flow around the hold.
Pros and cons
Strengths
- Run by a large, established company (PicsArt, Inc., founded 2011) with a public help center and press coverage
- No follower minimum and no invite list
- Base payment on approval, so an approved post earns something even if views are low
- Pays on comments, shares and reach as well as views
- Covers four platforms, including X
Drawbacks
- No public rate per 1,000 views; you only see rates inside each campaign
- 30-day hold before you can withdraw, longer than most clipping platforms
- Minimum withdrawal amount is not published
- Stripe is the only published payout method, and Stripe does not support every country
- Content must be made with Picsart tools, which ties you to one editor
- Best for
- Creators who already edit in Picsart and want paid briefs with a base payment and no follower minimum.
- Not ideal for
- Clippers who need fast weekly cash, a published rate card, or payout methods other than Stripe.
