AI CLIP GENERATOR

An AI clip generator that suggests the moments and lets you make the cut

Paste a long video’s link. FastClip suggests the moments worth clipping, writes the title, burns in captions and follows faces in 9:16. Free, with no watermark.

You pick the moment; FastClip adds the captions.

Free, no credit card, no watermark. Works in mobile and desktop browsers.

How it works

  1. 1. Paste a link or upload

A YouTube, Twitch or X link, a Google Drive file link, or a video file up to 5 GB.

  2. 2. Take a suggested moment

FastClip lists up to five moments with the reason for each: the parts viewers replay most on YouTube, moments AI picked from the transcript, or the loudest moments of a stream. Tap one to hear it.

  3. 3. Adjust the cut

Each suggestion only sets a start and an end. Move them on the timeline or by selecting words in the transcript, so the clip starts on a full sentence and ends where the thought lands.

  4. 4. Finish it

One tap renders the clip with word-timed captions and, if you turn it on, a 9:16 crop that follows the speaker’s face. AI also drafts a title and post text you can edit. Download it or post it to Instagram Reels or X.

Where the suggestions come from

  • Most replayed. For YouTube videos, the parts viewers rewatch most, from YouTube’s own replay graph. You can look at that graph for any video with the free Most Replayed tool.
  • AI picks. For videos without replay data, AI reads the transcript and picks moments that make sense on their own, each with a short label.
  • Loud moments. For streams and videos with nothing to read, the points where the audio suddenly gets loud.

Every suggestion shows which of the three it is, so you know whether you are looking at what viewers did or at a guess.

How it compares with fully automatic tools

Tools such as OpusClip, Vizard and Klap cut a batch of clips for you, often with a score for each. FastClip suggests, then you cut. If you want twenty clips with no decisions, an automatic tool is the better fit. If one wrong cut costs you a rejected campaign clip, see the comparison of free OpusClip alternatives and the guide to finding viral moments. Starting from a specific source? Questions

Is this AI clip generator free?

Yes. FastClip is free with no credit card and no watermark: 100 finished clips and 50 YouTube or upload imports in total, plus Twitch and Google Drive links with no total limit. The free plan includes AI use each month.

What does the AI do?

Four things: it picks self-contained moments from the transcript when a video has no replay data, it transcribes speech into word-timed captions, it drafts a title and post text for each clip, and it finds faces so the 9:16 crop follows the speaker.

What does it not do?

It does not publish clips on its own, and it gives no “virality score”. A suggestion is a starting point; you choose the start and end before anything is made. For YouTube videos the first suggestions are not AI at all: they are the parts real viewers replayed most.

Does it work with Twitch streams?

Yes. Paste a VOD or clip link. A few minutes later FastClip lists the loudest moments of the stream, which on streams are usually reactions and big plays. Streams have no transcript picks.

Why not let AI cut ten clips automatically?

Because automatic cuts start mid-sentence and end before the point, and clipping campaigns reject those. Suggestions plus a human cut take a minute longer and produce clips people finish.

Which languages does it support?

Captions follow the language spoken in the clip. The app is available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Hindi, Indonesian, German, French and Russian.
