Cut clips, by hand or with Ssemble's AI Clipping tool, and post them to TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts or X.
Connect your social accounts so Ssemble can track the posted clips.
Each clip earns once it passes 1,000 verified views. Ssemble filters bot and low-quality views before it pays.
Earnings become payable 5 days after the clip is posted.
Connect a Stripe payout account (identity and bank) and withdraw once you have $20. Partner campaigns pay out on Whop under Whop's terms.

What Ssemble Clip Rewards is

Ssemble is a browser-based AI video editor that turns long videos into short clips. Clip Rewards is its campaign board. Brands and creators fund campaigns, and clippers earn per 1,000 verified views on the clips they post, according to the Clip Rewards page.

The board mixes two kinds of campaigns. Ssemble-hosted campaigns track your clips and pay you inside Ssemble. Partner campaigns are hosted on Whop, where you submit and track clips and get paid under Whop's terms. Check which kind a campaign is before you join, because the payout rules differ.

On September 28, 2026, the page showed 23 live campaigns and $104,799 left to earn across them. Examples included a "TJR $23,100 Weekly Clipping Campaign" at $1 per 1,000 views with a $19,185 budget, and two small $100 to $500 campaigns at the same rate.

Payout rules on Ssemble-hosted campaigns

Ssemble publishes three payout requirements in its FAQ. They are clearer than most competitors' rules:

The country list is the biggest limit. You can clip from anywhere, but you need a payout account in a supported country to withdraw. Clippers in India, the Philippines, Indonesia, Nigeria and most of Latin America outside Mexico and Brazil are not on the list as of September 2026.

One inconsistency: Ssemble's clipper landing page says "PayPal payouts" for Clip Rewards, while the Clip Rewards FAQ describes Stripe. Confirm the method in your account before you rely on PayPal.

The AI clipping tool and what it costs

Ssemble's pitch to clippers is volume: its AI Clipping tool finds moments, crops to the speaker and adds captions, so you can make more clips per hour. The tool is a paid product. On September 28, 2026, Ssemble's pricing page listed plans from $6 a month billed yearly ($72 a year for 360 video credits, where 1 credit processes 20 minutes of video) up to $40 a month billed yearly. A free plan exists.

Ssemble does not say that you must buy a plan to join Clip Rewards. Treat the tool as optional. If you already cut clips in another editor, you can post those clips to the same campaigns.

How to read Ssemble's big numbers

The Clip Rewards page says the board is "trusted by 2,800,000+ clippers", and the brand page says 190,000 new clippers join every month. Ssemble's clipper and pricing pages say "2.4M+ shorts clippers". Both numbers appear to count Ssemble editor users, not people who have been paid through Clip Rewards. Ssemble does not publish a total paid out to clippers.

For brands, Ssemble offers a $100 Clip Test at $1 per 1,000 verified views and says it takes $0 of that test budget (brand page). It also says budget that is not delivered in verified views is refunded when the campaign ends. It does not publish its commission on larger campaigns.

Worked example

This example uses the published $1 rate and the published rules. You post 12 clips on a $1 campaign. Four clips stay under 1,000 views and earn $0. Seven clips average 8,000 views and earn $56 in total. One clip reaches 60,000 verified views and earns $60. Your total is $116.

If your first clip crosses 1,000 views on day 1, it becomes payable on day 5. You pass the $20 floor as soon as payable earnings reach $20. If the campaign budget sells out first, later views stop earning, so post early in a campaign.
