Who FastClip is for
You already know the moment. FastClip gets it out of the episode and onto your feed.
Made for
- Podcast hosts and producers who post a clip of every episode
- Marketing teams, founders and agencies who turn interviews, webinars and keynotes into clips
- Paid clippers working campaigns built on people talking
- Anyone with a long video and one minute worth sharing
Not the right tool if

Everything a clip needs, in one place
Word-timed captions
Every clip is transcribed in the language spoken and captioned word by word, burned into the video.
Titles and descriptions
Generated from the clip's own transcript, in your style, with the source cited. Edit anything before it goes out.
Post metrics
Views, likes, reposts and bookmarks for every published clip, refreshed while you work.
Publishing templates
Save how your clips go out once: captions, title and citation, source date, trial titles. Every new clip starts from it.
Relative performance
See which clip beat your usual numbers, per platform.
AI that finds the moments
Describe what you are looking for while you listen. Clips come back cut, captioned and titled. Now in early access.
Ask for a clip
Bookmark a spot with a note, or type what you mean. The agent reads the transcript around it and drafts the clip.
Adjust anything
Not quite right? Move the start and end on the same timeline you use to create clips, then save it as a new draft or replace the old one.
Clip on the go
Hear a moment while walking? Share the episode to FastClip, save a draft, and finish it wherever you work next.
Share sheet and Siri
Share a YouTube link from any app. Say "save a bookmark" and the moment is kept.
Offline playback
Download a source and keep listening on the plane; bookmarks sync when you are back.
Same clips, every screen
iPhone app, mobile web and desktop web share one account and one look.

And a few extras to make
your life even easier
Post again
A clip that worked gets re-cut and re-posted on a schedule you set, with lightly reworded copy.
Never the same source twice
Paste a link you already imported and FastClip brings the existing source to the top instead of downloading it again.
Automatic transcripts
YouTube sources arrive with their transcript. It powers word selection, titles and the AI clip agent, and every clip gets its own word-timed captions.

Making clips
What is a podcast clip maker?
A podcast clip maker turns a selected part of a longer podcast video into a short video you can share. FastClip combines moment selection, captions, reusable publishing templates, and publishing to Instagram and X.
Can I choose the clips myself?
Yes. FastClip suggests moments and opens on the best one: the parts viewers replay most on YouTube, or, for other videos, picks from the transcript or the loudest parts. You set the start and end on the timeline or select words in the transcript, and you choose what to keep and publish. You can adjust any clip later.
Can I fix a wrong word in the captions?
Yes. Before you finish a clip, open Caption words in the draft editor, tap a word to correct it (a guest’s name, a product term) or hide it. A hidden word stays in the sound, only the caption loses it. Clips you finished earlier keep their captions.
Can I remove ums and long pauses from a clip?
Yes, as an option. In the draft editor, open “Filler words and pauses”, tick “Filler words”, “Pauses” or both, and tap the button. Nothing is removed until you do. FastClip proposes silences longer than 0.7 seconds and, in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Hindi, Indonesian, German, French and Russian speech, hesitation sounds such as “um” and “uh”. It shortens each pause to a natural gap and lists every cut so you can undo any of them. Words that carry meaning, such as “like” or “you know”, are never proposed. Sound, picture and captions stay in sync, and the clip gets shorter.
Can FastClip tell me when a new episode is out?
Yes, if you ask it to. Turn on the notification switch on a source or a finished clip from a YouTube channel. FastClip then checks the channel about every 20 minutes and sends a push notification in the iOS app and an email when it posts a new video, with a link that starts the import. Shorts and live streams are skipped, you get at most three notifications a day, and you can unfollow or switch either kind off in Settings.
How is FastClip different from OpusClip and other AI clippers?
Auto-clippers cut a batch of clips from an episode and rank them. FastClip is for the person who already knows the moment: you pick it, with suggestions to help, fix any caption word, and get one clip that stands on its own. It is free, with no FastClip watermark. See the side-by-side comparison.
How long does it take to make a clip?
About a minute for a one-minute clip with captions. You do not wait for a long video to finish importing: make the clip a few seconds after you paste the link, and FastClip fetches the part it needs first. This works for YouTube videos.
Does FastClip add a watermark?
No. Clips have no FastClip watermark, on the free plan too. You can add your own logo, for example a campaign’s required watermark, in Settings.
Can I make clips from YouTube videos?
Yes. Paste a supported YouTube video link into FastClip to import the source. You do not need to download the full video to your device first. Use your own content or content you have permission to reuse.
Can I use FastClip for clipping campaigns like Clipster?
Yes, for campaigns built on people talking, such as podcasts, interviews and commentary shows. Import the footage by YouTube, X or Google Drive link or by file upload, cut the moment, burn in captions, then post and submit the link. FastClip can burn your logo watermark into every finished clip and crop landscape footage to full-screen 9:16.
Does FastClip add captions automatically?
FastClip transcribes speech and creates word-timed captions for your clips. Review the transcript and rendered clip before publishing, especially names and technical terms.
Can my AI agent make clips?
Yes. Connect Claude Code, Codex or Cursor to your FastClip account in Settings, then Agents. Tell the agent which moment you want, for example “clip the part where he explains the pricing from this video”. The agent imports the video, finds the moment in the transcript and makes the clip. You choose the moment. The agent cannot post or delete anything, and its clips count toward your plan. See FastClip for AI agents.
Publishing
Where can I publish my clips?
FastClip publishes directly to connected Instagram and X accounts and can schedule reposts. You can download finished clips for manual publishing elsewhere. Direct publishing to YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn is not currently offered.
Can I use FastClip on my phone?
Yes. The web app works in mobile and desktop browsers. On iPhone, you can also join the public TestFlight beta. A native Android app is not currently offered.
Pricing and terms
Is FastClip free?
Yes. FastClip is free: 100 draft clips, 100 finished clips, 50 YouTube or upload imports, 50 X imports, Google Drive links with no total limit, and $5 of AI writing a month, plus 1 direct post each to Instagram and X. Daily limits: 50 drafts and 30 finished clips. No credit card.
Can I repost any podcast I find online?
A public video URL does not give you permission to republish the video. Use content you own or have permission to reuse, and review your responsibilities in the FastClip Terms of Service.
