TWITCH TO TIKTOK
Turn a Twitch VOD or clip into a TikTok video, free and without a watermark
Paste the stream’s link. FastClip finds its loudest moments, crops the one you pick to vertical 9:16, and burns in captions. Download it and upload it to TikTok.
Free, no credit card, no watermark. Works in mobile and desktop browsers.
How to convert a Twitch stream to a TikTok video
1. Paste the Twitch link
A past broadcast (twitch.tv/videos/…) or a clip link. A long VOD takes 20 to 50 minutes to import; you can choose the moment and order the clip while it downloads.
2. Take a loud moment
A few minutes after you paste the link, FastClip lists the loudest moments of the stream: on streams, usually a reaction or a big play. Tap one, or set the start and end on the timeline. A clip can run longer than Twitch’s 60 seconds.
3. Make it vertical
Turn on the full-screen 9:16 crop. It can follow the streamer’s face, and you can move the frame with keyframes, for example from the facecam to the gameplay and back.
4. Add captions and download
Word-timed captions are burned in, in the language spoken. Download the MP4 and upload it in the TikTok app or on TikTok.com.
TikTok’s rules that decide whether the clip is seen and paid
From TikTok Creator Academy, read on October 2, 2026: Understanding TikTok’s Originality Policy (last updated September 26, 2026) and Creator Rewards Program.
- Unoriginal content can leave the For You feed. TikTok counts as unoriginal: content copied completely from others, content “largely repurposed from another source without adding any creative edits”, content combined from several sources with little added value, and content with someone else’s visible watermark or logo. It says such content “may be removed from the For You feed”.
- Rewards need an original video over one minute. The Creator Rewards Program pays for “original, high-quality content over 1 minute long” with at least 1,000 For You views. Duets, Stitches and Photo Mode posts do not qualify.
- The account must qualify too. At least 18 years old, 10,000 followers and 100,000 video views in the last 30 days, a personal account, in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, South Korea, France, Mexico or Brazil.
- Length and format are generous. Uploads on TikTok.com can run up to 60 minutes, vertical or landscape, and TikTok asks for 1080p or higher for rewarded videos.
In practice: a raw cut of someone else’s stream is the case TikTok calls unoriginal. Make it yours: choose the moment, crop it to the speaker, add captions, add your own text or commentary, and keep other apps’ logos off it. If you want rewards, cut a complete thought that runs past one minute.
Which part of the stream to use
The loud moments are a start, not a verdict: they catch reactions and big plays, not a quiet story that pays off. Viewer clips and stream markers in the Twitch Highlighter are a good second signal. Start a beat before the reaction so the clip makes sense on its own. Our guides on clipping streams and hooks go deeper, and the Twitch clip maker page covers imports and quality.
Questions
Is it free, and is there a watermark?
FastClip is free with no credit card and no watermark: 100 finished clips in total. Twitch links have no import limit.
Does it make the stacked layout, facecam on top and gameplay below?
No. FastClip crops one 9:16 frame out of the stream and lets you move that frame over time. That suits Just Chatting, reactions and any moment where one region carries the clip. For a stacked facecam-and-gameplay layout you need an editor that builds two regions.
Can I use a clip that is longer than 60 seconds?
Yes. FastClip imports the whole VOD, so you choose any start and end. For TikTok’s Creator Rewards Program the video must be original and over one minute long.
Will TikTok show a clip from someone else’s stream?
TikTok says unoriginal content may be removed from the For You feed, and it counts content “largely repurposed from another source without adding any creative edits” as unoriginal. Choose the moment, crop it, caption it and add your own text or commentary. Clip only streams you own or are allowed to clip, for example through the streamer’s clipping program.
Can I post to TikTok from FastClip?
Not directly. Download the MP4 and upload it in the TikTok app or on TikTok.com. FastClip posts directly to Instagram Reels and X.
Does it work with Kick?
Not from a link yet. Download the Kick replay and upload the file to FastClip (up to 5 GB).
